The term email forwarding describes an e-mail message being forwarded from a receiving address towards a third-party address which is not mentioned as a receiver. For example, a customer sends out an e-mail from their personal mail box to support@domain.com and as much as they're concerned, this is actually the single recipient. When there is an active forwarding, the e-mail might be sent to owner@domain.com, for example, even though the customer never intended the message to be sent there and may not be aware about the presence of this mailbox. There are several purposes for using such forwarding. For example, if you have several email addresses you can forward them all to a sole mailbox, which will make monitoring email messages less complicated and allows you to collect messages and respond to them quickly. The feature may also be used if a number of people should receive a copy of an e mail message sent to a standard email address.

E-mail Forwarding in Cloud Hosting

It's possible to forward any email address hosted on our servers to one or more third-party addresses in no time if you have a cloud hosting plan with us. The option can be enabled and disabled in the Emails section of the Hepsia Control Panel at any moment and you will be able to see an index of all email addresses where your messages will be sent to. You'll have the choice to leave a duplicate of the inbound communications on our server and get a backup in case that you remove anything from the remote email address. This feature can be quite practical if there is a temporary problem with the other email address. Provided that it is activated so we keep a copy of all your emails being relayed through our system, you simply won't risk losing messages.
